FD Interest Rate changed without reflecting on the website?

I created two FD in Bank  on 9th and 10th July 2015 respectively. I created the FD with tenure of 1 year, and as per their website on this two days, the interest rate that was showing was 8.5%. However, when I created the FD, it was created with 8.25% interest only. Then I emailed to the bank officials, and they simply emailed me saying that the interest rates have been revised from 9th July. Then on 11th July I got the email that the revised interest rates are reflected on the website. But now my question is, I have already locked my money with lower interest rates just because as these guys didnt updated their website prior to applying the revised Interest Rates. They should provide the customers the same interest rates on the FD's created on 9th and 10th July 2015, as it is their mistake that they didnt update their website first.

Dear Yogesh

In rare instances,  updation of details on website may reflect late/delayed, might be due to certain technical glitches.  It would not be possible for the Bank to allow FD interest rate of 8th July on 9th July/10th July.

You will have to take up the issue with Banking Ombudsman by submitting all the related documents as well as email received from BoM. What I understand that you created FD online, based on the interest rates displayed on the website but printed FD had revised interest rate. Anyway, the BO would be the authority to give verdict in the matter. As a last resort, you may approach Consumer Redressal Forum for resolution of issue.

Thanks and regards
