Deactivation of Credit card?

I am a credit card holder of your Bank, credit card No. is. I am not using the credit card services and have already deposited all the liable amount on it month wise, but still some unnecessary charges are being imposed on it. I asked bank officials several times over phone to discard these charges. But there is no satisfactory response from their side. Kindly please arrange to deactivate the credit card service with immediate effect.

Dear Swapnil,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

As regards your complaint, I would suggest you to first write a suitable letter recording your views and objections and submit to your home branch or nearest branch of the card issuing bank. Please submit two copies and ask the bank to acknowledge receipt on the duplicate for your records. If you do not receive any response within 15 days, you may take with the Nodal Officer of the bank for resolution. An acknowledged copy of your original complaint should be enclosed to your complaint to the Nodal Officer.

I am sure you will get a response from the Nodal Officer. It is in your interest to purse and have the matter settled amicably insisting that your credit score (with CIBIL) should not be affected by any action taken by the bank. Contact details of Nodal Officer can be found on the bank's website.

If the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction and you are convinced that you have not justice from the bank 30 days after your first complaint, you can take with the Banking Ombudsman. The institution of BO would surely come to your rescue  providing just resolution.
